Before and after Katrina was there...
See the beautiful picture below?

I was in this beautiful city - New Orleans, one and half months ago. The moment so memoriable for me...
I would never expect, a short visit of Hurricane Katrina a few days ago destroyed the whole city...
Katrina was gone...

With too many pains it left for this city.
It is painful... even to see the pictures...

When I read about New Orleans, I thought of you and how lucky it was for you to have gone and came home again. Destructive hurricanes are all females, you notice? Katrina now and earlier on which made the news was Frances. Does it mean that females are, err, destructive? It's worse than Tsunami...
Hey..FF,
Yes.. very sad indeed..!
i agree..all that history and heritage is literally going down in flames and flood.
p/s: if you've been getting spam, you should try blogger's comment verification on your settings.
I agree you really should try to do something to curb the spam. I do not know how blogger works so I cannot help you in that arena. My blog program makes me read and verify a person for the 1st comment, then after that they are free to comment, unless of course I delete them. Strange did you change it just recently because I had to set up a blogger account to comment on here.
What really gets me upset about this New Orleans incident is that there are the thugs and criminals that are making the situation even worst. They're shooting at helicopters that are trying to evacuate the victims. They're carrying guns around, looting, and causing havoc...it's crazy.

For those still in the city, the situation is getting really bad. There are still many stranded on top of roof houses without food or water for the past few days.
Eh, my link doesn't work. Anyhow, if you goto www.cnn.com, you can see some of what's going on.
Thou Katrina is horrible but human can be more horrible in time of disaster! Read that 80% of the city is now flooded and might take months to dry them~
Milgwimper : Hey dear, I just changed my comment setting with no-anon allowed. Sorry ar~
julie : It will be a very tough and long progress... but it will go back to normal one day.
vaibhav : Once again, nature shows how mighty its force is.
primrose : Yes, I am indeed very lucky. In fact, you and I have the same doubt, why are they name as in a feminine way??
mrst : *nod head*
letti : can you teach me how to put a verification pass word like the one in your comment box? That seem to be a wonderful way.
dennis : same mind think alike. really sad to knows people use chance for crime in moment like this.
acrix : Katrina is another way nature cry because of human actions?? I don't know...
I was actually planning on heading to New Orleans in December when I go to New York. I was so looking forward to it after looking at all your photos.
It is so sad and frustrating too to see the news coverage. And I am already mourning the fact that New Orleans will never be the same again.
oh and ps. the comment verification is part of Blogger.
Go to "Settings", "Comments" and then tick yes for "Show word verification for comments".
Fish Fish,
No problem! :D If it keeps the spam down then I am for it.
I pray for all the people in Southern Lousiana, and I hope they can get hlep and relief soon.
AG : Yes, my dear. From the news, I do realize New Orleans will never be back to the same again. Thanks a lot for the verification thing. You see it is working now. Arigatou!!!!
milgwimper : Thank you for your understanding. ^_^ I have put the word verification even.
