Diving in Sipadan - The famous 3
*Ehhem* *Bow Bow*
GOMENNASAI!! Sorry for keeping everyone waiting for Sipadan. Life have been quite busy for me so I have to delay editing those vast amount of pictures.
Anyway, today fish fish be a good girl, doing nothing but sitting down for these few hours just for doing my blogging. ^_^
Ok, are you ready? I shall start my Sipadan series from today.
Tralala~~~ Meet the hot Angeline (my diving buddy) and the fun-to-be-with Edward (my diving sensei).
During our waiting for boarding the flight, Edward went to do some serious natural business.
*Wait Wait Wait* *30 min past*
Fish Fish :" Eh, do you think he fell into the hole?"
Angeline :"Ha!!! Might be."
Fish Fish :"Hmm... wait. I confirm with him first."
Sms from fish fish : Dear Sir, have you finished laying your golden egg? 30 min past already.
Reply fom Edward while squating doing his business : Stomach ache lar... :) lots of things coming out and already my... (Hehe... you help him to continue the sentence. ;P)
Muahahhahahahahahha!!!! You can imagine the 2 lady laugh until people around us thought our brain were twisted.
Anyway, we waited for longer, still he hasn't come out.
So, fish fish walked to the direction with the Male sign, pushed the door open.
"Edward Yong, you there?" Fish Fish called out loud.
"I'm here. Oi Xi!!! Gou Mou Chiek Mar!!! Nyi Lok Loi Zhou Mai Xi??" Edward screamed back. (It's Hakka, meaning what the hell are you coming here.)
"You finished your eggs?" I asked, while there was a guy walking through the door and smiled at me. Tee hee hee... I smiled back, sweetly. No, I didn't really enter, I just called him from outside. Geee... I don't think any lady want to see a guy half-naked doing their business, right?
You know what? I think it was a good act. He came out after a short while. I should have call him earlier. Ha!!!
Then, we finally flew to Tawau.
Then a van brought us to Semporna to take a boat.
Nice harbour view of Semporna.
Amazing view of many illegal Philipinos houses on a small deserted island in the middle of sea. It used to be only one, then two... and today, the amount has increaded to more than 10.
Imaging when the water level is raising up, what is going to happen?
The islands around were beautiful.
Eventually, we reached our "hotel" where we stayed for 3 nights. It used to be an oil rig. It is called Seaventure Dive Resort. (Sorry, couldn't find the proper website of this resort. Maybe someone can help me? Thanks!)
Oh yes... Edward the cameraman were getting ready to do his duties for the coming few days.
The 2 Angelfish (heee... Angeline + Fish Fish = Angelfish) were getting ready to pose as much in the underwater world...
Our stage of performance was the splendid aquarium. We were flying like Peterpan in this huge living aquarium.
It was like a box of chocolate, we never know what are the next sursprise we were going to encounter.
The jaws!! Oh yes, the very first resident we saw, was a beautiful shark about 30 meters below us. We were at around 25 meter when we spotted it.
In the coming days, we met with more than 10 sharks.
Mostly are white tip sharks, such as one above. I spotted 2 leopard sharks as well, cute!
Gosh!! They are lovely. Forget about the scary scenes in The Jaws.
These sharks in Sipadan were one of the most friendly I have ever seen. But beware, never provoke them. You don't want your silky smooth flesh being detroyed in chunks in second. *Gulp*
We met with 2 stingrays. I was so excited when I saw this blue-spotted stingray. Geee... it was smaller than I have thought.
Our next visitor on the last day of our dive, was indeed a very lucky encounter. It was Marble Stingray!! Very rare indeed. In fact, our dive master for Sipadan told us it was actually his first time saw it after working there for 1 year. Wow!!! Luky us!! ^_^ It just laid there quietly to take a rest. Little did it know how much swirl he gave to the sakai divers like us. Tee hee hee...
Oh, see how sweet Edward was? He really did his duty well, getting so near to the cutie just to take a picture of it. Lovely shot!!
If you think all these were exciting enough... wait till you see the next.
Oolala~~~ I have a chance to spot a green sea turtle...
Not only once, but many times. Until I gave up counting them. Another diver did a record on the number of turtles he saw in Sipadan.
"I went to Redang to dive, all I saw were 4 small turtles. Know how many I saw in Sipadan in 3 days?? 50!!! Man~~~ they are HUGE!!!" Gosh, I have never seen guy could become such passionate when describing a sea turtle. This Mr. Sweden just wanted to spot for turtles, turtles and turtles...
The moment of swimming with turtles were priceless. They are very shy animal. Argh! I didn't manage to kiss their mouth though.
Angeline, the great underwater poser, took many great pictures with the turtles. She is a great poser!! You will agree with me in my coming posts. ;P
Oh yes, turtles are good.
Angeline was showing her victory sign after conquered so many turtles. Tee hee hee...
To end today's post, here is a favorite shot of sea turtle by Edward. Splendid, isn't it?
^_^ To be cont...
